Royal family of Malaysia visits Ridder

Last Friday, June 17th, Ridder was honored with a visit from Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, a member of the Malaysian Pahang Royal family, reigning as Regent and 4th Crown Prince of Pahang. To strengthen the horticultural sector in Malaysia and that of the state of Pahang, the Crown Prince visited a selected group of businesses in the Dutch horticultural sector to discover the latest, innovations and developments.

As a greenhouse technologies supplier, Ridder hosted the Crown Prince at the office and factory in Maasdijk to showcase how Ridder’s solutions can help the horticultural sector in Malaysia to become more sustainable and profitable.

Ridder’s knowledge of the Asian market in combination with the knowledge of the horticultural market and the vast array of solutions makes Ridder an invaluable strategic partner when it comes to the sustainable development of the horticultural sector in an area like Pahang.

Part of the visit to Ridder was a tour through the factory in Maasdijk, where among other things, all sorts of climate screens are knitted on-site, water treatment units are being prepared for delivery and various digital solutions are on display. The tour was finished with a visit to a greenhouse company where Ridder’s solutions are being used, to show how Ridder’s solutions help them grow their way.
