Assistant Teamleader

Are you a leader and get energy from rolling up your own sleeves?

What do we do at Ridder?

Climate change, increasing drought and huge population growth: the developments this world is facing have a major impact on international agriculture and horticulture. In this world, as a Dutch family business, we are a household name. We help farmers and market gardeners in a successful transition to more efficient and sustainable production methods. Greenhouses play a key role in this: within an optimally controlled, autonomous greenhouse environment, crops can grow optimally. The right irrigation systems, sensors, robots and other climate control systems eventually make human intervention unnecessary.

Although a fully autonomous, intelligent greenhouse is still in the future, Ridder has been working for years on the building blocks to facilitate this environment in due course. Our portfolio of hardware, software and services – drive systems, climate screens and growing solutions – makes us unique in the greenhouse and horticulture market. From two (production) locations in the Netherlands and sales offices in France, Spain, Mexico, the US, Canada and China, our products find their way to partners (installers and greenhouse builders) or to the end user (growers and livestock farmers).
