Ridder has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2023 Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) Mission Award. The CEAC, part of the University of Arizona, annually recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations that exemplify the mission of the center.

Ridder was chosen for its outstanding efforts, development, and innovation in the realm of environmental control systems for controlled environment agriculture.

The award ceremony took place on March 16, during CEAC’s Greenhouse Crop Production & Engineering Short Course, where David Story, Crop Management Systems Specialist and CEAC graduate,  accepted the Mission Award plaque on behalf of Ridder.
