RBO 100 R FR W

RBO 100 R FR W is a flame retardant blackout rolling screen that extends complete light exclusion to the vertical walls of the greenhouse, ensuring full blackout conditions for photoperiod-sensitive crops. It is completely white, reflecting sunlight to help limit heat buildup in the greenhouse and to reflect light from supplemental lamps back to the crop.

While roof blackout screens block overhead light, blackout rolling screens prevent unwanted light from entering through the sides, creating a fully controlled environment essential for photoperiod sensitive crops, with the same 99.9% shading efficiency as Ridder’s roof screens. This ensures precise day length control, vital for flowering and yield optimization.

Blackout rolling screens also improve energy efficiency by reducing heat loss through the greenhouse walls. Installed together with boundary material and sewn on overhang materials extending from the overhead screen panels, it helps form an energy-tight seal around the crop.
