RBO 100 FR AB+BW

RBO 100 FR AB+BW is a Ridder Blackout Screen providing light exclusion and climate control for photoperiod-sensitive crops, enabling year round growing and higher yields. This screen regulates temperature, humidity, and energy use while preserving a stable environment.  

The screen's aluminum upper layer reflects light when it is deployed during daylight hours, and its white bottom layer reflects supplemental light from lamps, intensifying it. Its aluminum strips help it save more energy than other blackout screens, and also its highly reflective upper layer helps prevent heat buildup on warm days.  

It is flame-retardant for greenhouse safety, the double-layer design delivers 99.9% light restriction. The perforated knit—foil strips and yarns—permits moisture movement, preventing excessive humidity and supporting healthy transpiration. Unlike all-PET screens, RBO uses thicker PE strips with polyester yarn for durability, energy savings, air permeability, and fewer light leaks.
