This week a group of 16 international floriculture professionals discussed their business strategy and future vision during a visit to Ridder. The Pro Manager Mastercourse program, organized by Jungle Talk and co-hosted by Ridder, Koppert Biological Systems and Rabobank, provided the young entrepreneurs with the unique opportunity to discuss the future of their company with the captains of the Dutch horticulture industry.
In the first two weeks of November, the group is touring the Netherlands to meet with inspirational leaders of the Dutch horticulture sector. Last Tuesday it was Ridder’s Chief Innovation Officer Joep van den Bosch who welcomed the group and kickstarted an inspiring session program. In line with the ‘Helping You Grow Your’ promise of Ridder, the group discussed the necessity to adapt technology and knowledge to local markets. As well as this, the impact of important future developments in the field of data analysis, AI, machine learning and the autonomous greenhouse were discussed as part of the ‘Turning Data into Dollars’ insights provided by Van den Bosch. The program was concluded with an interactive session in which participants provided their feedback and share their personal vision on how these developments can shape their future strategy.
Ridder is a proud partner of the Jungle Talks Pro Manager Mastercourse sessions organized by Jungle Talks. We believe in propagating ambitions and cultivating the talent of young entrepreneurs who have an inspiring vision on the future of horticulture.
The next Pro Manager Mastercourse is slated for February 2019 and will focus on Vegetable producers.
