YOUR ROLE WITHIN RIDDER
As Sales Manager, your focus includes the development of New Business and you play a key role in the further growth of our company and strengthening the relationship with our existing (international) customers. You do this by thinking from the market inwards. You represent Ridder’s total product portfolio. Ridder all the way. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You work together with other (international) Sales Managers and a (technical) inside sales team who support you in helping the customer. In this role, you will report to the Sales Director EMEA.
Your account areas will be drawn up in consultation with you and the team, so that Ridder is represented internationally. The team consists of 4 Sales managers.
WHAT DO YOU BRING IN?
A completed HBO (Msc) education (technical and/or commercial)
Affinity with technology and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
A strong business instinct, perseverance, flexible and proactive attitude.
Good oral and written skills in Dutch and English. A third foreign language is an advantage (example: or French, or Spanish, or Arabic).
Project-based working, whereby you are able to define the right strategy from an open market.
Dedication, courage and a competitive attitude

You are willing to travel internationally
WHAT DO YOU BRING EXTRA?
Preferably knowledge of the climate control product range, for example climate automation, drive systems and climate cloths. Of course, we will teach you everything first!
Preferably you have a network in the horticultural sector
