Maasdijk, September 25, 2026 – For the fourth time, Ridder welcomed customers, dealers, partners, and other business relations to its annual Late Summer Networking Event. What started as an informal gathering has grown into a valued tradition centered around networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
In his opening remarks, Chief Strategy Officer Joep van den Bosch highlighted the importance of strong connections within the horticulture industry. In a sector that is constantly evolving, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint innovation are more important than ever.
The event focused on the key themes shaping the future of horticulture, including energy savings, climate control, automation, and robotics. In an informal setting, while enjoying food and drinks, visitors exchanged experiences and discussed the opportunities and challenges facing today's horticultural industry.
"The challenges in our industry require both smart solutions and close collaboration. The innovations we develop, ranging from Hortimax climate and process automation and Ridder’s data & AI solutions to screening technology, drive systems, and robotics, are rooted in practical experience and the partnerships we have with our customers and partners. Ultimately, it is the connections between people that accelerate innovation and move our industry forward," said Joep van den Bosch.
During the event, Erwin Althof was also introduced as Ridder’s new CTO. He looks forward to working closely with customers and partners and believes that the best innovations emerge when different perspectives and experiences come together.
With inspiring conversations, new connections, and many familiar faces, Ridder looks back on a successful fourth edition of its annual after summer event.
The 5th anniversary edition is already on the calendar for September 23, 2027. We look forward to seeing everyone there again!
