Ridder announces a new integration with Gremon Systems' Trutina platform, further expanding the range of technologies that can be connected through the Ridder platform. This integration gives growers direct access to real-time plant feedback in a single environment, Ridder's Hortimax Plus or Hortimax Pro climate computer.
Trutina monitors plant level data such as weight, water uptake, biomass development, and drainage in real time. Combined with Gremon’s cloud-based analytics and agronomic advisory service, the Risk Reduction Report, growers gain a deeper understanding of crop responses, enabling them to make data-driven cultivation decisions.
All data is stored from day one, allowing growers to build graphs and tables using historical data, combine it with other integrated sensors, and export it for further analysis, making it easier to identify trends and gain deeper insights into crop performance and growing strategies.
Vision for an open and connected ecosystem
The partnership reflects a shared vision from Ridder and Gremon Systems to create a more open and connected horticultural ecosystem. Innovation in horticulture is accelerating, and growers increasingly rely on specialist technologies to optimize their operations. Jorge Gonzalez, Product Manager at Ridder, said: “By connecting specialist technologies like Trutina with Hortimax, we enable growers to combine valuable data, gain better insights, and make more informed cultivation decisions.” Zsolt Fábián, CEO of Gremon Systems, added: “Plant data and climate data belong together. This integration gives growers a more complete picture of their crop and is another step towards more data-driven and increasingly autonomous greenhouse operations, with the grower always in control.”
About Gremon Systems
Gremon Systems is a Hungarian-based agtech company specialising in plant-level intelligence for greenhouse production. Its Trutina platform monitors plant weight, water uptake, biomass development, and drainage in real time, giving growers continuous insight into how their crops respond to growing conditions. Combined with cloud-based analytics and Gremon’s agronomic advisory service, the Risk Reduction Report, Trutina helps growers make more informed cultivation decisions across a wide range of crops, including tomato, cucumber, pepper, strawberry, and blueberry. Gremon Systems works with growers and technology partners across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.
