As CNC Programmer at Ridder, you play a key role in shaping the production of our high-quality drive systems and components that power sustainable greenhouses around the world.
At Ridder we work with passion alongside our customers to build a more sustainable agro food sector, worldwide. As a key player in international horticulture we develop and deliver technical solutions that help growers produce food and flowers more sustainably. As an innovative family company, our 350 colleagues have been supporting customers across the globe for more than 70 years.
A fully autonomous, intelligent greenhouse is still a future vision, but Ridder has been building the foundation for years. Our portfolio of hardware, software and services, including drive systems, climate screens and growing solutions, makes us unique in the greenhouse and horticulture market. From two production sites in the Netherlands and sales offices in France, Spain, Mexico, the United States, Canada and China, our products reach partners such as installers and greenhouse builders, as well as end users including growers and livestock farmers.
We join forces every day to make things a little better for our customers. That applies to our service and products, and just as much to our people. Your personal development comes first. Your ideas and your vision matter. Together we set goals, and we see it as our task to help you reach them. That is how we grow stronger together.
For our factory in Harderwijk we are looking for a CNC programmer to join our industrial engineering team. The IE department is responsible for the project based purchase, development, improvement and commissioning of production equipment. As a CNC programmer you design and optimize machining processes within production to reliably and efficiently make semi finished parts that meet Ridder’s quality standards. You do this by continually improving existing techniques and by introducing new techniques, tooling and processes.
You explore ways to reduce the tooling cost per product. You do this by collecting best practices in machining from the industry, maintaining relationships with suppliers and peer companies, and initiating pilot projects.
From a project management perspective, you ensure that new CNC programs are created by programming G-code for a SINUMERIK 840D control system. You also determine the required fixtures and cutting tools and prepare the corresponding setup sheets. In addition, you are responsible for testing and optimizing machining programs for new products and for guiding tests and the introduction of new products within the manufacturing department.
Finally, you also work on specific programming tasks such as tool breakage monitoring (Artis) and in-process quality measurement systems. You contribute to standardization and parameterization, as well as to the mechanization, automation and robotization of material handling and product finishing. Together with the Technical Service, Industrial Engineering and Quality Control departments, you actively contribute to technical solutions and continuous improvement.
A technically challenging and varied position with plenty of room for your own professional development.
