Ridder drive systems can be used to winch heaters, drinking and feeding lines, and movable nesting system platforms in poultry houses.
In poultry houses, our drive systems are used in egg-laying systems, breeding systems and broiler production systems.
Our drive technology can be used as follows in hoisting or winching solutions:
There are three methods of hoisting objects with RW motor gearboxes:
In hoisting systems with a winch motor, the cable or belt, which is wound around the winch drum, is connected directly to one or more drinking lines, feeding lines or heaters. The belt or cable is wound onto and off the drum and runs via pulleys to the drinking lines, feeding lines or heaters.
In hoisting systems for heavier objects, such as rotating feeding lines or rearing platforms, steel cables are wound around tubes which are driven by a motor gearbox fitted with chain couplings. These motor gearboxes can also be used in a double winch drive system for various applications. This system uses a continuous shaft to drive a worm wheel gearbox, enabling two parallel tube systems to run synchronously.
If you would like to use one of our drive systems in a poultry, pig or cattle house, please feel free to contact us. We can help you choose a drive solution that will fit your customer's needs. You may have more options than you think. You can either get in touch with us directly, or leave a message on our website and we’ll contact you.
